St. Sebastian’s Archery Event 2025

St. Sebastian’s is less than a month away, and the staff at the premier archery event in the Outlands are hard at work to make this the event you want and deserve.

St Sebastian’s will now include the Archery championship for the Barony of Caer Galen. In addition to this, Caerthe is holding its Warlord, Premier Blade, Rapier of Chivalry, and, Cut and Thrust tournaments.

 ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIPS APLENTY
This year’s St. Sebastian’s shall host the Archery Championship Shoots for the Baronies of Caerthe, Dragonsspine, and Unser Hafen! In addition, the Caerthe Thrown Weapons Championship shall be decided upon these very fields.
Sharpen thy arrows and still thy breath—for now is the time to prove thy mettle before the eyes of the realm!

🎯

FOUR RANGES TO TEST THY SKILL
Behold! This year we unveil FOUR mighty ranges, all open and filled with challenge:
Range I – A place of training and testing, where ye may practice at will and shoot the sacred Royal Rounds.

Range II – A Shooting Gallery filled with whimsical and wondrous targets sure to delight all comers.

Range III – The Hunt Range—where ye shall stalk all manner of creatures to keep the camp well-fed… and beware the dreaded Battlemoor Bears!

Range IV – The Siege Range! Thy castle lies under assault. Face waves of advancing foes and defend thine honor under storm and arrow!

🗡️

 THROWN WEAPONS—PREPARE THY ARM
Limber thy throwing arm, for great contests await! While the full trials remain shrouded in mystery, one grand test is known: the Caerthe Thrown Weapons Championship shall feature a fierce Bear Hunt with the spear! Come ready to prove thy worth in contests of axe, knife, and spear—and let no target stand!

🏹

 COMBAT ARCHERY—LET FLY IN GLORY
Yes, good gentles, we shall have Combat Archery! The IKCAC will be shot, and all may join—for no full armor is required. Only a helm and half gauntlets are needed to enter the field of honor.
Loaner crossbows, helms, and gauntlets shall be provided in good number. If thou hast thine own gear, bring it forth, and together we shall show the Known World that the Outlands boasts the truest shots!

🐕

 HOUND COURSING—A ROYAL HUNT RETURNS
Her most gracious Majesty shall host a spectacle of noble tradition: Hound Coursing! Once the favored sport of emperors and noblefolk, this ancient practice brings forth the speed and spirit of the chase.
Whether noble or common-born, all may behold the splendor of swift hounds as they pursue their quarry in a display of grace and instinct. Join us in honoring this most elegant and ancient hunt!

🏰

 TREBUCHET CHALLENGE—LET FLY THE STONE!
We are not done yet! On Saturday eve, as the sun sets in golden light, we invite thee to take part in the grand Trebuchet Throwing Challenge!
Bring a team of 5 to 10 valiant souls to the mighty 30-foot trebuchet. If thou art alone, come forth anyway—training shall be given in the art of punkin-chunking warfare!
Once trained, the great trebuchet shall fire, and the shot shall be marked. Each team will have three chances to match the trebuchet’s throw. The closest to the mark shall win a prize worthy of song!
